PARIS - TEMPLE

Complete renovation and decoration of a 120 m² Haussmann-style apartment on Rue du Temple, Paris.

This 19th-century apartment underwent a full transformation. We opened up the space by removing the wall between the two living rooms and relocated the kitchen, which was previously in a separate room, to create an additional bathroom.

Given the apartment’s location on a busy street, significant attention was given to acoustic insulation. All five windows were replaced with custom soundproof models, faithfully replicating the original design. We also added sound insulation to the ceiling and selected walls to significantly reduce ambient noise.

Throughout the renovation, we preserved the apartment’s historic character. Most of the original moldings were carefully maintained, with only a few new ones added to seamlessly match the existing features.

Finally, we designed and commissioned a large custom-built wooden table, perfectly proportioned for the new layout and crafted specifically for the space.
